A church that is holy. Truly distinct from the world around it, enough to make the city sit up and take notice.

A church that effectively demonstrates the gospel is ‘good news to the
poor’ in a variety of life transforming ways.
LOVING GOD & OTHERS
A church that delights in and demonstrates what the Creator is like in an effective way. A loving, powerful, satisfying, awesome God. Made in His
image, we love Him and love others.
HEAVENLY COMMUNITY
A church that is an attractive heavenly community of God, it has a healthy family atmosphere. It embraces all ethnicities, classes, young or old, married and single, rich and poor.
UNITED
A church that is united as it moves forward in its purpose. Without factions and undermining behaviours that detract from this.
HOUSE OF PRAYER
A church that worships in Spirit and Truth. A house of prayer for all nations, empowered and led by the Holy Spirit. It sees and experiences God at work in a powerful way.
EVERYONE ACTIVE
A church that sees everyone active in fulfilling its mission, helping each person to find their fulfilment in Christ, cheering them on in day-to-day discipleship wherever they are.
EQUIPPING, SENDING & PLANTING
A church that takes seriously The Great Commission to make disciples. It equips and sends out hundreds of people to advance the kingdom of God in Medway and beyond. Especially through helping establish new churches and reaching the unreached with words, works and wonders.
WORD & SPIRIT
A church that is confident in its beliefs, established, feeding on and obeying the Word. It proclaims and explains the Bible’s big story to a world hungry for reliable truth.
CREATING MOVEMENT
A movement of thousands that sees growth in numbers without
compromising quality as many experience the grace of God and are added to the Church.

A church that is longing for Jesus’ return, holding out the hope of being glorified and made perfect in the new creation – Come Lord Jesus!
