There are lots of amazing people that take responsibility for different teams and who take the lead in a variety of ways and most are volunteering their time as part of the church community. To help give extra strength and leadership we also have paid staff who work centrally and provide direction, training, pastoral care and support to the various ministries and Communities.
ADAM VOKE
LEAD PASTOR

Adam is married to Susie and they have three teenagers - Megan, Ben and Zeb. They also have a dog called Barney! Adam is an elder and leads the elder team, with responsibility for overseeing the central gathering and ministries. He also leads one of the Relational Mission Communities as well as one of the local Medway Church leaders groups.
SUSIE VOKE​
FAMILY AND COMMUNITY WORKER

Susie leads CAP Lifeskills and oversees the children’s teams, providing support for parents and families. She works for Cornerstone 12 hours 12 hours a week during term time. Susie is often leading alongside Adam in various contexts too. It is also rumoured that Susie is the most faithful dog walker in the house which Barney the Labradoodle is very grateful for!
MATT FOX
YOUTH WORK

Matt Fox, his wife, Rachel and their two children moved to Medway in 2019 to join the team. Matt heads up the 11-18's with great passion. He can juggle (with fire!), beatbox and prefers Papa Johns to Dominos! Matt is also involved from time to time behind the scenes with social media and communications.
RHONDA SANDS
INTEGRATION AND EVANGELISM

Rhonda was born in Cairo, Egypt, and grew up in Sydney, Australia. She studied psychology, Christian Counselling, and has an MA in family therapy. Rhonda's had various jobs in the counselling/family support area, but her real passion is for seeing people come to know Jesus and become all He has called them to be. Rhonda's responsible for our evangelism strategy and integrating new people into the life of the church.
JOEL FELTON

Joel is from just outside Norwich and has joined us for a year doing ID. He claims to be able to do an 8-minute plank. He is a direct descendent of one of the Three Musketeers - just like his twin brother Nat.
NAT FELTON

Nat is from Attleborough in Norfolk. He is doing ID (discipleship intern) this year with Cornerstone City Church. And mainly focusing on youth work within the community. He is a direct descendent of one of the Three Musketeers. (Really. They aren't fictional).
JULIAN PERRY
ELDER AND CHAIRMAN OF TRUSTEES

The Perry family were part of the original team that moved from Dartford to help plant Medway Family Church in 1992 (before it transitioned to Cornerstone City Church). Julian became an elder in 1996, he is involved in worship leading and is the Chair of Trustees. Julian is married to Lena and they have three adult daughters.
TONY SANDS
ELDER - GROUPS AND PASTORAL CARE

Tony was born in England and lived in New Zealand and Australia. He is married to Rhonda, and has a 19-year-old son, Aidan. He’s been involved in leading churches in various global locations. Tony is an elder and is tasked with overseeing pastoral care, groups and involved in discipleship and leadership development pathways. Tony needs your prayer and friendship, wisdom and encouragement to serve you well… so get to it!
GEORGE RANGELOV​
FINANCE AND BUILDINGS ADMIN

Originally from Bulgaria, George is married to Neli and they have two children. Before joining the staff part-time to look after our building management and week to week finances, George worked as a professional Bulgarian folk dancer and dance teacher. We’ve seen his skills on display once or twice! George is part of the Rochester Community Team.
VAL MOGAJI
TREASURER

Val oversees the month to month big picture finances, which includes involvement in annual accounts and payroll. Val is married to Bola are they are part of the Peninsula Community. They have two teenage children - Caleb and Debbie.
BECKY MEADOWS
JASPERS CAFE MANAGER

Becky works 3 days a week leading the Jaspers Cafe team. The cafe is based in Rochester High Street in partnership with Medway Council and is a hub for local people to gather and get a taste of the Cornerstone community. Becky is part of the Rochester Community Team.
